Happy Birthday!

LOVE this card... that's all!  I love using watercolor paper and the wax resist technique.  It has such a huge impact... and is sooo easy!

Perfectly Preserved... Just For You

I love this for a 'just because' card.  I've also made this for a thank you card, just by changing the sentiment.  It does take some time with all the little pieces going through the Big Shot, but in the end it's worth it.  Make a few of these for your stash to make it really efficient!  Love having cards on hand for spur of the moment occasions!

Masculine 4 You

This is a great masculine card.  Change up the colors easily for a few different looks... same goes for the sentiment.  I love this stamp set... ALOT!

Blissful Bird

It's been awhile since I've had a chance to post some more of my cards on here... I think I will only be posting the pictures and leave off writing anything.  I pretty much know what I've done to make a card... and this is really more of a visual record for myself anyway.

If there are questions... feel free to leave a comment and ask me how or why!

A pretty card used for a secret sister.  It's also great for a lady's birthday or just a pretty notecard to say "hello, just because"!

Language of Friendship

This card is super easy.  I used the Manhattan Flower EF and ran it through the Big Shot with Crumb Cake cardstock.  Then using the Language of Friendship stamp set, stamp in Soft Suede ink on Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango and Soft Suede cardstock, and then punch out with the coordinating Bird Builder punch.  In order to make the embossing pop out a little more, I sponged lightly over it with Soft Suede ink.  Arrange and adhere puched out pieces to the front of card using glue dots and dimensionals.  Add a pearl to the center of the flower and to the bird for an eye!

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!  A great card for a friend or secret sister!

Happy Day To You!

I love this card.  So easy... yet it has great impact.  You can't see it on here, but the poppies were stamped in jet black staz on ink on watercolour paper.  I coloured them in using my blender pen with Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple ink.  I layered that on a Raspberry Ripple panel and adhered it to a River Rock card base.  To finish it all off I tied a Primrose Petals ribbon around the front.

Playing Catch Up!

Since I've been making cards and scrapbooking for quite awhile now.... this is catch up time.  I want to get all the cards and scrapbooking I do into one spot so I have a visual record of what I've made.

So... let's get to it!

This card uses the Young Vermillion stamp and a French Foliage (I think!) script stamp I printed out from My Digital Studio.  I used my blender pen with Baja Breeze and Soft Suede ink to color the bird lightly.  I also softly sponged around the bird, over the script to soften it up a little.
I started with River Rock for a card base. To the panel of Cherry Cobbler I layered River Rock again.  To this River Rock panel I applied my script embossing folder and lightly sponged with coordinating ink to make the design pop.  I applied the focal image to some Baja Breeze cardstock after adding some ribbon and a button.  And as always... "no naked buttons"... so I tied some linen thread to the button!  Voila!  Done!
